"Excellent for one night for Aurora watching but that is it. The bubble is pretty basic, nothing but the bed in there. It is very dirty however and the common rooms haven’t been cleaned after the lasts guests so we got to enjoy all their mess. As we were the only guests at the time I would have expected to get the room with the best view, but I don’t think there was anyone caring about that. Not good value for money."

"I wish we could have booked our whole trip here. Cute cottage and my family loved the naturally heated, mineral hot tub! The cooking amenities were great! We got lots of groceries from Costco and cooked with the wonderful oven and stove top. Pick this place, dont hesitate!"

"One of the most unique and memorable hotel stays we’ve ever had. Watching cows and calves through viewing windows while dining was such a special experience, and the on-site ice cream bar was a fun bonus. Check-in required a quick workaround since no one was initially at the front desk, but the restaurant staff kindly helped us connect with them—problem solved easily. The room was gorgeous—a dream space that honestly inspired future home renovation ideas. Heated bathroom floors, a powerful rain shower with handheld option, and a heated towel rack made it feel luxurious and cozy. The mountain views from the large windows were breathtaking. The glass house seating area for Northern Lights viewing was such a thoughtful touch. The farm-to-table restaurant was outstanding—everything cooked to perfection. Breakfast was also very good overall, though the pancakes had a slightly tangy flavor. Location-wise, it’s perfect—close to stunning spots like Brúarfoss and within easy reach of Secret Lagoon. An unforgettable stay—highly recommend!"

"We had booked a room at Litli Geysir Hotel but the day of we received notice that we had been upgraded to stay at the new Hotel Geysir. This hotel is directly across from the Strokkur Geysir so no complaints on the location. The beds in our room were fantastic. The room would have been better if it had a mini fridge and ice bucket. We had dinner at the restaurant and free breakfast in the morning. Both had plenty of options. The staff were friendly and still learning the place but it was clean and had large open lounge areas with interesting art. And after a night snowfall, they plowed the parking lot immediately. "

"The beans and the bacon were both cold and this was at 7:35! I would not be expecting this. Supposedly they were in a heated dish. They definitely were cold however! Staff were quite blunt when asked about gym timings. Nowhere even in their own website does it state timings, so disappointed when wanting to use it at 7;30 before leaving for the day and told I can’t due to rooms above. I understand that but either sound proof the rooms or make it clear on both their own and third party websites the limitations! Hot tub was not in use either, supposedly due to weather. Again something that needs to be informed on third party websites, also that April is classed as winter in Iceland "
