"First time stayed here, nice place, friendly staff, food was great, view of the sunset great. Only negative I would add is just a few areas like some doors or frames need a lick of paint, otherwise defo stay again

"From arrival & pulling up in front of the beautiful grand house, full of old world charm, to checking in to our well appointed junior suite, the staff were attentive & polite, the food was delicious, locally sourced & served with attention to detail. The bar provided a fantastic selection of food & drinks & Champagne seemed to be the order of the day, we even tried a pint of Clarkson's local brew. Set in its own well kept grounds over looking Cheltenham racecourse, which was only a short walk...
"Stayed 2 nights in room 5. Very large room, with bath tub and shower over.
As building is several hundred years old the windows are not sound proofed. I overlooked the High Street and you do hear traffic. Food is fantastic "
"The hotel is located in the village of Blockley, one of our favourite villages in the Cotswolds, as it is completely untouristy and truly charming. It is also very close to other villages, all easily reachable within 10–15 minutes by car. The hotel rooms are a bit dated, but the staff were extremely kind and even upgraded our room, giving us a very lovely and comfortable accommodation. Breakfast, ordered from the menu, was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay"

Airconditionet bråket en del, men jeg hadde heldigvis ørepropper.
Hotellet hadde en hyggelig bakgård med sitteplasser hvor man kunne bestille mat og drikke."
"Impressive building, super receptionist, who was extremely helpful. Had a super, very clean room overlooking the river and was a glorious Easter weekend. The room was large with a lovely big firm bed and nice pillows. TV, kettle, extra heaters and fan(if you needed them). Double glazed windows and super shower with plenty of lovely hot water. Nice to sit looking at the river in the late afternoon too. On the outskirt of the town so reasonably quiet but easily within walking distance of the town....
"A lovely hotel situated in a good location for exploring the Cotswolds. Superior room was excellent. A nice size with a double shower and bath. Bed was comfy. Hotel restaurant had a good choice and food was of a very good standard. Breakfast particularly set us up well for the day. Hotel staff were also welcoming and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again."
