"This hotel was very clean and very well maintained. The room was a bit warm with no AC and it was unusual that the lobby area closed at 10:30 pm as it would have been a nice place to sit and have a drink or play cards. Everything else was great!!"

"The Whiskey Vault business runs a a bar restaurant plus a small hotel. The best of this accommodation is its convient town center location. The room we had is clean but space is really tight. When we arrived at around dinner time, the hotel receptionist was not there so we checked in with the staff at the bar. "Conveniently located facing the ocean right in downtown Oban, so the whole town was within walking distance once we got settled. Comfortable room with parking right next door, and we enjoyed dinner at the pub right in the hotel, watching one of the FIFA matches. Slept well here and had a hearty continental breakfast the next morning. Would recommend!"

"The darling couple who own and run the B&B are extremely delightful. Our hostess started us off in the morning with a delightful breakfast, good cup of coffee and good advice or directions to our days activities. She made sure we enjoyed ourselves. "Very run down. Poorly maintained structure. Evidence of water leaks in the bedroom and bathroom which had a strong smell of damp and long term cigarette smoke. One Bedroom window was nailed closed, no ventilation and although electric fans were provided, they only circulated warm air. Doors banging throughout the night disrupting sleep. Shower was a drip hose. Altogether a very bad experience which I would not recommend. This hotel is by far the most rundown place that we have ever stayed....
