"Hotel room had been refurbished at some point but starting to show a few niggles - bathroom door handle loose, bath room sink tap loose. Room itself was smaller than expected but adequate for our three day stay. We had a bay view room which lived up to those on the website. Restaurant only offered a three course meal for dinner which was really good value. Breakfast was a bit hit or miss - some items were only warm (hash browns kept on a plate rather than a heated serving tray). Car parking is a bit restricted otherwise parking is on the street / car park opposite which is free between 06:00 pm and 09:00 am. Staff were very pleasant and helpful and an asset to the hotel."

"Room was spotless and very comfortable, not huge but had everything we required. Esp surprised with the little bag of goodies for breakfast! Parking was easy at B&B but not so much in town so best to walk. Check in was quick and easy, our host being very helpful and informative."
