"This was my favorite hostel I’ve stayed in so far! As a solo female traveler I felt the town and the hostel environment was incredibly safe. The facilities as a whole were very well maintained and clean! I liked how the dorm rooms had a sink and mirror separate from a sink in mirror in the toilet room as well as the shower being separate. "A nice stay overall. We were unable to get the water in the shower cool enough to use, so we had to sponge bathe in the sink. But the room was clean and comfortable enough. We liked that it was within walking distance of the ferry."

"We had a good stay at The Palace Hotel, very friendly lady welcomed us. Our room was up 45 steps which wasn't ideal for us because of our age. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were at the rear of the hotel and the pigeons outside our window made getting to sleep a little difficult, but on the whole no problems. The breakfast was amazing, far too much for us but very well presented, lots of choice , something for everyone."

Breakfast was delicious, we also had dinner there and it was wonderful, other than they did not cook my steak correctly, but they took it off the bill, which is great customer service."
