Golden Lion - the good and the not so good.
Good location, comfortable room which could have been a bit cleaner. Beware when putting out the 'green card', as well as not changing towels and linen they may not replenish tea bags, etc nor provide clean cups. Food very good, but table service is a bit variable.

The breakfast was really good and the restaurant area very nice. The rooms all had a theme which was lovely. However the bathroom could have been cleaner when we arrived. We did also have to put a blanket on the floor at the bottom of the door to block light coming in from the corridor. Although ...

The room was very clean...staff were polite. Everything we needed. But we were given an accessible room... This may have been the only option for a 2 room suite.....but we would have preferred not to have been given this.... Bit offputting to be honest
