"Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Willing to help as necessary. Everything was within walking distance. We only had 1 day that, for us was a washout. The jungle helps with any noise from other rooms. Highly recommend the night walk, especially for kids. The Puma trail offers a bit of nature if you slow down and look. There are other tours available also. Go with a guide, they will point out thing you will miss."

"We traveled to CR in late May, 2026, with our two boys (age 14/11). The property is lovely - clear views of the volcano (aside from the mist covering). Lots of birds to spot, & the grounds are well maintained. We stayed in their smallest room - two queen beds. The room was nice but basic. There is a small fridge/coffee pot/kettle & they supply coffee/tea. There is a hair dryer as well. The room is very humid, even with AC, but that is not the fault of the hotel. "It's better to have an all terrain vehicle to get to this hotel, Not all the roads are paved, and when driving in rural areas in CR you will encounter a lot of dirt roads. The property has a unparalleled views of the volcano , lake and jungle. The breakfast has a variety of fruits, bread, and protein. They also offer activities and excursion. There are wild animals roaming the gardens , and people visit this place just to catch a glimpse of all the birds, It is truly a beautiful and unique...

"The hotel was immaculate. Our room/cabin was comfortable with great beds and all the amenities anyone could wish for. The restaurant served us our best meal in La Fortuna. We will definitely be returning."
