"I had a really pleasant stay at S48 Hotel Chiang Mai! The room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet, which made it easy to relax after a day out exploring although transport is reccomended as the sereness yet closeness to the city centre still need a bit to travel although close. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and check-in was quick and smooth with staff who could not enough to help. "Other than being located outside the city center ( 1-2 min drive by scooter or tuk tuk ), Chiang phueak is the next best spot IMO. Safe, shopping, quiet, and clean. Still in the walking streets and markets which line the whole city. This hotel feels upscale, is extremely clean, well run, very affordable, and has beautiful day/night views of the golden shrine of Doi Sethup right off every balcony. Private, gated and manned under building parking with elevator. One of the best."

"This was my first trip to Thailand and the Kiree Thara Boutique Resort was the perfect place to land. It is situated in peaceful surroundings, the gardens are calming and beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and well equipped, the staff were generous and hospitable. It’s a short ride from the city (easily accessible via the Grab app) and far away enough to experience the tranquility of the hills in Chiang Mai. Great food and service. I highly recommend staying here. "
