"If you are a non-smoker, do yourself a favour and skip this place. The hotel uses central air conditioning and the rooms on the non-smoking floor (level 7) smell musky with a stale cigarette stench. We had 3 rooms in my group and all the rooms were the same even when we changed rooms. In addition, most of the service staff were non-Japanese, they could not communicate well and did not appear to be well trained and quite rude. "We arrived by air to New Chitose aiport very late. This gotel was booked by us just to get rest before traveling over Hokkaido. It was a great surprise that our stay was wonderful by itself. Public bath helped us to relax after two connected flights. Very good room. Proper bathroom. Supermarket few meters from hotel, hotel few meters from Chitose station. We recommend it! Breakfast is set menu but you choosecfrom 5-6 options. Nice view on local area"

"Very detail matters. This onsen facility cares a lot of detail. Staff are kind and well trained. My wife and I can see very detail “Omotenashi” in room, restaurant, onsen and staff service. It was really impressive. If we will stop by Hokkaido again, we want to stay again and see if there will be any small improvement (Kaizen) there. "

"Nice 5 star hotel. The service and staff is top notch. The views are spectacular. Great place to retreat to and relax. We stayed here for 1 night in our trip through Hokkaido. My only issue was at check in. We were required to make the dinner reservations and meal selection at the front desk. And not everything we wanted was available to us. So it was very awkward experience in my opinion. I don’t know if I made a mistake not reserving the restaurants in advance but it is hard to know what you want for dinner up to 7 months in advance. Maybe it was just better to order room service. "
