"Staff were fantastic and could speak enough English for us to communicate. The resort is definitely family friendly with the arcade basement level and the pool. We used the free parking which is located offsite, but walking distance. Split your party up. Drop your bags off at the lobby and get checked in while whoever is driving goes to park. The onsen was amazing with so many different options. It was a little nerve wracking at first, because it’s so revealing, but I got somewhat used to it. It was lonely being the only female in my party, but also lovely to have some alone time too and be able to switch pools at will. The buffet breakfast was delicious and plentiful. On hindsight, I wish we’d reserved the in-room kaiseki dinner and gotten the full ryokan experience."
