Great location, beach was just a couple of minutes walk, free trolley/bus to go anywhere on the island with pickup in front of the hotel, activities available at the marina for booking and lots to explore! Only negative was the pool heater was on the fritz, didn’t miss it much with all the other things to do. Kids had to figure out life without fast food options!

Very unclean

The property is very nice and conveniently located in AMI. However after going for the second year in a row we were very disappointed. Very dirty. One walk around the room and our kids feet were black. No mopping goes on only vacuuming and the same things like sand where still on the floor each time we went back. One day they didn't put towels for us and ended up bringing it quick when we called. Best customer service was from a young man named Tyler who switched out our rooms as soon as we got there and hadn't gotten the same one as the year prior ( due to space ). We loved the hotel prior to this stay, and will most likely not be back. Getting outdated and like I said very unclean. The couches and the carpets are also very filthy. Big worry especially when traveling with kids and you see little cockroaches in the room.

AMI Waterline

Upon arrival, the desk clerk was super friendly and helpful. I believe he said his name was Luis. He had only been working for a couple of weeks but he was AWESOME! When we checked in our room, we did our normal wipe down, antibacterial spray, and check the bedding. Well, we discovered bugs that were extremely tiny and would normally be brushed away like lint but one moved which is what caught our eye. This is not a complaint but a highlight to the hotel staff, specifically Maggie, who came to our room and changed all three beds with fresh bedding. She was so friendly. Once we got clean beds, we had an awesome experience. Each day we interacted with staff, they were very friendly and helpful with which beach we should go to, where to eat, and how to catch the trolley. I would definitely come back.

Excellent Stay @ Waterline in AMI

Extremely comfy beds, spacious, and beautiful location on AMI. Full kitchen if you want to eat in and located close to several amenities and the beach. My family highly recommends staying here!

The staff are helpful & friendly. The location is perfect to get back and forth to the beach , restaurants and use the free Anna Maria trolley. The pool temperature was perfect & nice to have ping pong & jenga available . Room service was excellent. Would have preferred if parking was included in stay and not added charge .
