The location of the hotel is amazing, right next to a very popular photography spot in Gion. Because of this, expect some noises as there are always photographers outside around the clock. Washer dryer is really convenient. The rooms are very well maintained. Short walk to many stores and shops in Gion. "

"We had an authentic Japanese experience staying here. The location was perfect - the house was on a quiet street while still being very close to the main attractions in the Gion area. The interior was beautiful, clean and well insulated with heated floors and AC in each room. Beds were very comfortable and the upstairs living offered a lovely veiw of the Yasaka Pagoda. "Great host and communication. The house is cozy and it had everything we needed. The air conditioning was great in the Japanese heatwave. In just under 10 minutes, you can walk to some of the nicest streets in Kyoto with temples and cafes.
However, everything around there closes quite early and becomes really quiet - so be aware if it’s not your vibe. Not a big deal for me, though.
The only real issue is that the property is not very accessible: the closest bust stop is about 15 min away and...

駐車場がないこと（周辺は高い）点が何点と言えば難点ですが、六波羅蜜寺、清水に近く朝の散歩はこの立地ならではのところです。
町屋なのでサイズ感などは昔の家屋ですので入口などは狭く感じるかもしれないです。お風呂も広々、キッチンもついていて犬連れ旅にはもってこいのところでした"
