"I cannot say enough about this beautiful, boutique hotel! The staff was amazing and very communicative. As we were traveling from Martha's Vineyard with a stop in Boston, they ensured that they stayed in touch with me as I had to guesstimate my time of arrival. They texted and said my room was ready and that I could check in early. I appreciated this so much. The fresh baked chocolate chip cookies!! What a treat every night! The common area and all the amenities went above and beyond what I was...

"Such a cute hotel! Location is perfect, less than a 1 min walk to the main drag in Salem. The staff was great! Holly was the best! She is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. . She was very accommodating. We will definitely stay here again!!"

"Nice, well maintained unit in the house; comfortable bed and big shower ! Close to Main Street and attractions."

"Excellent! Super easy access and check-in/check-out process and quick communication. Buildings and rooms are impeccable and gorgeously decorated in historic fashion. Comfy king bed in the Rajah room, beautiful clawfoot tub or a separate shower, and the main house was amazing as well. Great continental breakfast options"

"It’s an old hotel, so don’t expect modern day upgrades in the rooms. The hotel IS great. Our room was good. A few things wrong with room but no bad, sort of. Our a/c unit didn’t work, so we had to leave the window open our entire 4 day stay. Not bad. There IS, also, a big window in the shower, which is facing the street. Talk about putting a show for all those outside. Our room had a great view, and so did the outside looking in. It’s even worse when showering, or using bathroom at night. Beware...

"room was cold. thermostat didn’t work. Other than that, was very enjoyable weekend."

"Unique stay in a very cool old house. I am a 6ft tall woman though and didn’t realize the ceiling height in our room would be approximately 5’11” so I did have to walk like a shrimp haha. We also had difficulty with the electric lock on the front door every single time we tried to get in. We felt as if maybe the battery was dying in it. Called the number on the app and left a voicemail when we were locked out for a while last night and never heard back, like at all. Not even today. Would...

"The staff at the hotel was lovely and checking in was great. However, I'm afraid the hotel is in some need of updating. Although it is an older property and whomever is managing has done best efforts to keep it clean, it needs some updating such as the air conditioning units (they are very noisy), door handles which are rusted, and a few spots are showing aging in the ceilings. We stayed in room seven which is on the ground floor close to the check-in area. The property is clean and our room was...

"Perfect location for our Salem getaway. Property was as described and comfortable."

"Well kept property"

"Great price for the room. The entire complex was clean, and the staff was more than friendly. I would definitely stay here again."

"A nice place to stay for our visit. We will definitely book here again in the future."

"Amazing!"

"Door to get into our room was extremely difficult to open and took several tries each time with full body force. When we told staff he said that the key car may need a new battery and it would be a process. Never fixed it. Also, reported the fridge in the room didnt work. We found that out when all our leftovers were warm and ruined the next morning. Pool had hair and debris floating in it. Room was clean and breakfast spread was good. Will mot stay there again."
