"Great hotel, location - very nice opposite a JamMex restaurant. Nice food, drink & vibes - I took takeaway. Friendly & approachable staff Very close in fact right next to the road- so noisy with traffic- honking, loud motorbikes, etc. Room, clean & spacious. Breakfast - was VERY NICE, Loved it I went back for seconds. Options Jamaican breakfast only, from memory- I'd recommend this hotel & that yum, yummy Breakfast."

"Loved my stay at great huts. Totally unique rooms, quiet property with detail to art and history throughout … beautiful cliffside views and chirping crickets at night made this stay feel relaxing . Don’t have to leave the property if you don’t want to , there’s a bar and staff will tend to your needs. The on-site restaurant is decent , but I wouldn’t suggest it if you’re hoping for authentic Jamaican food. I would stay again!"

"The location was spot on. Wasn’t crowed wasn’t noisy. We had a rental car more than enough parking when we came back from exploring most of what beautiful Portland had to offer. I am an amateur photographer, so Frenchman Cove , Blue Lagoon, Winnifred Beach Reach Falls .. you get me !!!! They got explored. We didn’t have to worry about about driving back home late. 10 - 15min from most local spots."
