"This was potentially the worst hotel stay I've ever had. I've never stayed in a room with such poor sound proofing before and sleeping was miserable. You could hear EVERY time someone opened their door. It didn't help that the bar had karaoke playing super loudly too on Friday and Saturday night. You could hear everything. The guy working at the front desk was lovely but there's only so much you can do to block the noise. It was hard to fall asleep before 1am and I was woken up both mornings...

"I came to Poets Cove for 3 nights on a solo trip. First time visiting Pender Island and I came without a car. Poets Cove offers a shuttle bus that comes to pick travellers up from Otter Bay and brings them to the hotel. However, the bus didn't show up and I was stuck at the terminal for about 30-45 minutes. "After we paid at the front desk, they told us that the elevator was broken. We refused to walk up to the third floor with our luggages since we're old. Then they offered a suite on the 4th floor with extra charge for it. I don't understand what they were thinking. Anyways we got a room on the first floor. But at least they could tell us before we paid then we could go to other hotel with an elevator. A little bit disappointed."
