My wife and I stayed one night at Bear Mountain Resort and had an amazing experience. The room was spotless and had an incredible view overlooking the golf course. We watched the Blue Jays game at the restaurant and really enjoyed the atmosphere, great food, and drinks. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the whole property had a relaxing, upscale vibe. We’ll definitely be back for a longer stay next time!
The room was great and they gave us a lovely upgrade to face the mountain. We will admit we were disappointed with the menu in our room that said happy hour was from 3-5pm and when we got there at 4:40 they said the kitchen closed at 4:30 for happy hour and only drinks were available. My young son was very hungry so we ended up having to go to Jacks for dinner very early and the food and service there were not great. Other than that the front desk team were amazing and we enjoyed walking the 9 hole loop and take in the fresh air.
The mountain community setting was absolutely beautiful. We had a large balcony overlooking both the hills and golf course - stunning. Resort surrounding landscaping is beautiful.
Service was outstanding. Rooms were well supplied and very clean. There was also a fun and good restaurant across from the resort.
Only complaint was cost of on-site parking at $35 per night.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return and recommend it to family and friends.
