"The garden is truly beautiful! Also, the property is in an excellent location from which to explore the city. The Hotel Proprietors were very lovely. After our train was delayed five hours, and we arrived just before midnight, they had still stayed up to let us in and help us to our room. Very kind!"

"It was a wonderful historic hotel with many excellent staff caring for our every need. The restaurant 5 star with delicious creations. Breakfast staff helpful and some excellent choices to eat before we set off for our day. Mathilde was wonderful and not only looked after our food choices but also gave us a few destination suggestions. From here it is a short trip to Pont de Gard where we swam below a Roman bridge also Gordes and Isle le Sorgue. Hope to return."

"The room was really small, but that’s more of a Europe thing than a specific thing. The staff were amazing! Super kind and helpful. The breakfast was yummy. The location is fantastic. As with many hotels we’ve seen so far, this one seems to be fit into an older building so it’s not like a new Holiday Inn in any town in the US, but it’s a fantastic place to stay in Avignon. Did I mention the staff was fantastic? You couldn’t ask for nicer people."

"Such a charming property and very easy to get around into central Avignon and surrounding areas. Staff was incredibly helpful and my overall stay was exactly what I was looking for. Beautiful pool and excellent restaurant on site and lots to do within walking distance in the village. Highly recommend!"

"A great quite location super conveniently located just outside St. Michel Gate, so it worked very well as a retreat from the Festival. The host was very warm, personable and accommodating. A jacuzzi in the room was a great amenity after long days of walking on cobblestone, and the living room was a comfortable place to get work done during the days."

"Charming hotel in the perfect location! Will dream of coming back! The view out of our window was the papal palace. The quietest hotel room I have ever stayed in even though it is city center. I am sure that was because of the cut stone walls. The breakfast buffet was good and worth the price. But there are plenty of dining options within easy walking. Our train was leaving later in the day so they were happy to hold our luggage after we checked out. Our stay really was perfect!"

"Excellent stay at Best Western Plus Avignon – Highly recommended! We just stayed at the Best Western Plus Avignon and overall found it to be a very good hotel in a convenient location. The breakfast was excellent — fresh, varied, and one of the highlights of our stay. The indoor pool and sauna were amazing and perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The staff were wonderful — friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. The gym is quite small and could definitely use some...

"It was reasonable priced, cozy, with the basic necessities one would find in your kitchen at home. Our trained was delayed by 3 hours and we had a lot of luggage and we were happy by proximity. We just rolled our luggage to the apartment. It was just what we needed at the time. A place to lay our head. PERFECT!!!!"
