"The hotel was situated on top of the hill, and we really loved the landscape around the hotel. A lot of trees and a lot of snow with few people. But there were no nearby bus stops, so transportation was quite inconvenient. Taxi to the city centre for 6 people was 46Euros. But since we expected this when we booked this hotel, we have booked tour with hotel pick up most of the time, so it was not that big of a problem for us. Staff were friendly, food at the restaurant was good. Room was small...

"This was a perfect choice for a family and was attracted to the private sauna in the room. Beautiful location on the frozen lake was magical. Perfect location as it is directly across the

"Booked a classic cottage for myself and 7yr old. Very clean and comfortable. Sauna was great for drying wet clothes. Underheated floor in bathroom. Beds comfy. Kitchenette handy. I'd swap the coffee machine for a toaster though. Eateries nearby are very expensive. Breakfast was ok but no baked beans or hash browns. Not much choice for vegetarians. Excellent xmas activities for kids like santa, mrs claus, skidoos. But the kids' favourite thing was the 'accidentally made' ice slide near the arctic...

"Location is great. Behind the hotel is the river with beautiful views, in front is a bus stop to Santa Claus village. Multiple restaurants and stores around and close to city center. It's just that we refused cleaning but housekeeper came anyway while we were out. "

"Everything about this hotel was perfection, I truly can't say enough. Staff was helpful, courteous, and on top of everything. My room was beautiful, the entire facility was immaculate. The in-house restaurant was amazing and the included breakfast was artistically presented, very generous, and excellently prepared. I enjoyed the use of the indoor 'garden' patio and the upstairs lounge. I also enjoyed the Sauna "Finland style" - you will need to reserve your time for that in 30 or 60 minute...
