"We had a junior suite facing the garden on one side where the patio is. The staff were outstanding on every level. The shuttle was a great advantage as we would park and get a ride down. Having somewhere to put bathroom items would be great. I know we should pack lighter but will never happen."

"Beautiful, quiet surrounds. Walking distance to all major landmarks in Florence. Very friendly and helpful staff. No restaurant on site but breakfast is lovely and Giovanni has wonderful recommendations for where to eat. I didn’t have them but I’m told the cocktails are delicious. Didn’t use the pool which is small but would be a nice place to e to cool off after a day of touring"

"Our experience was consistent with previous reviews. Location is ideal. Easy entrance into main attraction area and with rooms off an interior courtyard property is super quiet at night. Rooftop terrace is ideal. Relaxing, great cocktails and a perfect way to end a day sightseeing in the crowds of Florence. We didn't realize the restaurant is not open for dinner. Breakfast was crowded, food ok. Overall a nice property."

"The staff of Hotel David is amazing So helpful and accommodating I really appreciate them! The hotel itself is located right outside the ZTL and includes parking which is a huge plus. It is also super clean the room we stayed it is the biggest we have in a Europe hotel. They have complementary breakfast and Apperitivo. The breakfast was not the quality I expected and much lower quality especially when compared to a second hotel that I stayed at Florence. They served the worst quality croissants I have tasted. We also consistently lost wifi on our floor and the front desk was slow to acknowledge this, and act on it."

"The property has lots of road works … which increases the cost of any taxi trips … the reception staff were always helpful and we had an early check in … irons are not available to the room there is an ironing room … I checked with the hotel before we traveled and took our own steamer… the breakfast has a good selection the staff again were great … we ate at the hotel bar one night and the food options and food were good .
