Dear Director Giampieri,
I’m writing to express serious concerns about our stay at Hotel Cristoforo Colombo (June 29–July 2). We chose your hotel based on strong reviews, but our experience was far below expectations due to multiple unresolved issues:
1. Check-In Issues: Check-in took over 3 hours despite a confirmed reservation. We were given incorrect rooms and had to move mid-stay, causing major disruption.
2. AC & Room Conditions: Several rooms, including ours, had non-functioning or poor AC. Cleanliness was also lacking. A room change wasn’t offered until the last night.
3. Broken Room Phones: Phones didn’t work, forcing us to go to the lobby for any request.
4. Misinformation from Staff: We were told the metro was a 10-minute walk — it was actually 25 minutes, creating challenges for children and elderly guests.
5. Unprofessional Conduct: At 2 AM, I was ignored by the front desk receptionist, who prioritized a personal conversation. A photo is attached.
6. Housekeeping Failures: Our room was not cleaned despite requests. Spills and unmade beds were left untouched (photos attached).
7. Facility Problems: Breakfast water dispensers didn’t work, and our ceiling leaked on the last night.
