"I traveled with a group of 21 including myself. When we arrived we had to wait til 4 for check-in so we were able to take a look around. The rooms are nice but needing some updating and some furniture items need replacing. The sofabed in my room was stuck out all weekend which ruined me having my group being in my room to celebrate my bday where all my decorations where put up because they dont allow you to decorate inside of the hotel unless you book an event space. The shower had mold and the metal soap holder (the only place to put anything other the floor which was so sloped you couldn’t stay up any bottles) was broken and just fell right off.. this was a very old and run down looking room. Also the headboard in the bedroom was directly behind the elevators and it was incredibly loud. This room was also a room that could be attached to another room and we could hear every conversation/ argument...

"A fine, clean, modern hotel, but the location is nuts! If you haven't rented a car, you are stuck with a $100 taxi ride from the airport! No apparent alternative way, no bus, no train, no shuttle. Other than that, a very solid, albeit, kind of isolated hotel."

"Clean room, friendly staff, ample parking, public beach w/ ample parking, great local food & bars nearby. Beware the noisy rooster/s that don't just squack in the morning! They're kind of adorable as I'd never seen them before in person, but they can ruin a good afternoon nap 😉 Also there's at least 5 tattoo shops nearby. Toa Baja is about 30 minutes from San Juan, I'd highly recommend a rental car. Using ride share services is an option, but a rental suited my needs better for sight seeing...

"Was able to see the ocean from our room, but being on the north side of the island you’re not located at a beach that is safe to swim. Pool looked good, breakfast was included which was nice, but the selection was limited. Staff was lovely"
