"Great place "

"This is a perfect spot to stay by the airport. They provide pool towels and you can ask for a couple cheap beers to take to the pool. The restaurant has totally decent pizza at a good price, there’s grocery and restaurants within walking distance and they have a ride service to the airport. A great price for what you get."

"Poor and very limited breakfast. Restaurant is super expensive with limited menu and poor quality meals. Cero amenities. Very boring after 6 pm when it gets dark only thing left to do is go to sleep."

They gave us one small container - enough for one person. We’ve been staying here regularly when we arrive and prior to leaving Costa Rica over the years as have friends and family based on our recommendation. Cindy reached out to confirm our time of arrival, provide directions and caution us on the local roads due to a rain storm that had just passed through. If that wasn’t enough, Cindy then messaged us back to confirm our lodging, advised us how to access the resort and get our selection for the next morning’s breakfast. "Beautiful oasis in the city. The perfect place to spend a night before our early morning flight. The owner was so friendly and kind. She helped us get a taxi to the airport and even noticed we had a surfboard with us and arranged for us to get a bigger vehicle to make sure it fit. We highly recommend this place!"

The grounds of the property are beautiful and interesting with lots of birds and butterflies (note there is some small construction going on at the moment but this didn’t affect us). It was a relaxing and peaceful place for a few days with excellent hiking nearby to the waterfalls and river swimming pools.
