We booked 2 rooms for our family, rooms were spacious, had all the necessities. Food was really good, a little bummed we couldn’t eat at the restaurants that required reservations as there weren’t any available. Overall we had a great time.

The best part were the bartenders at the pool by the exclusive area! Way too many kids they should have a pool for adults only. Massage was great on the beach but was not affiliated with the resort, food was sub par! I doubt we will return.

Stayed there for five days. The resort itself was nice and welcoming staff. The rooms in the privileged suits are outdated and smell a bit moldy. I wouldn’t Pay more for the rooms with the tub outside. You’ll get a nicer room and updated room if you don’t get the ones with the tub on the balcony. Food was not the best. The breakfast definitely outweighed the lunch and dinner. Disco was very nice and i like how we were aloud to go onto the sister resort. Rate for the stay overall would be 6/10.

Our first all-inclusive and it was wonderful. Multiple restaurants and two food halls. Relaxing, part of a walkable neighborhood of shops and restaurants off sight and they had their own beach areas. Staff was so kind and rooms were clean, air conditioning worked great, nice sitting areas outside that were covered and not. Pools great-one with swim-up bar. You'll have to get used to the sereques running around. Our only complaint is we wish it was closer to the airport. Pay the extra $ to get a private car or Uber. Advise you do not take the shuttle that stops at multiple hotels-took us 2 hrs to get to our hotel because of all the traffic and stops - it wasn't the distance. We'd stay here again.

Another trip to Catalonia in the books. This is our 2nd stay at this resort and 4th stay within the last 2 years at the Catalonia hotels (2 in costa mujeras and 2 here in puerto aventuras) The good: Staff Food Location Activities Beach front Private ocean swimming right out the back door Clean pool Grounds are immaculate! Gym is great (open earlier than 630am please) Privileged room (clean/good A/C) The hotel is 10/10 We have stayed multiple times and we have enjoyed each stay. The location is great, food and pools are excellent. Staff is top notch! Angeles, thanks for the extra attention to our room asks, you went above and beyond. Guys/gals - if you seek a clean, nice and perfectly located hotel in a quiet city - this could be the place for you. I’ve stayed at the costa Mujeras location 2 times as well- and although that location is a little more updated - this is the better of the hotels we’ve stayed at in the Catalonia family of hotels. I’ve stayed in the standard rooms and the privileged and honestly they are both great options. Clean, A/C is good and good overall service. Bad: Not sure there is much to make note of here: Maybe expand the gym hours to open earlier? I’m honestly really stretching here. The walk to the golf carts can be a little long winded at the end of a night laying by the pool - maybe have a stop a little closer? You can see I’m really stretching here. We are booked for 2027 May. See you soon.
