I loveddd the pool and the view. This was a birthday trip for me and the staff made me feel so appreciated on my birthday when they prepared a cake for me and sang happy birthday. I will always recommend this hotel. It’s also excellent proximity to Quinta Avenida as well as the bus station and the beaches

The room was very clean and yhe staff was exceptionally kind. I spent 6 days and was very pleased. The spa downstairs was small but well thought out, and I had an excellent massage there as well

This hotel is in a convenient location. It's close to Avenue 5 but on a quiet street. The rooms are nice, the beds are very comfortable. The roof top pool area is a pleasant place to spend evenings. The staff is very good. Gabriel and Jorge quickly and cheerfully resolved a reservation issue for me. I would definitely stay there again.

Pool was very nice with area with shade. We had the presidential suite which was very comfortable with a seperate bedroom and living room. Bonus was two bathrooms. Kitchen could use new dishes as many pieces were cracked. Overall a great location and place to stay.

Can’t say enough great things about this Hotel.Front Desk (Gabriel and Luz)Excellent Service.Maintenance (Luis and Edgar)got this property running smooth.Rooftop Pool Bar (Antonela and Jorge)Great pool to hang out in.I forgot a few names but the Staff couldn’t be nicer.And Finally,Location.28th between Ave 5 and 10.Best part of 5th Avenue and only a 5 minute walk to Mamitas Beach.Can’t wait to go back.

Clean hotel in an easy to access area. Not enough loungers by the pool and the ones that are there are in poor condition. Not too sure if it was the time of year but the roof bar and lobby lounge bar wasn’t in service.

The location is great, and the employees are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the room itself was in poor condition, and the air conditioning barely worked. From the moment we got off the plane until we moved to a new hotel, we had to deal with unbearable heat. After spending a hot day outside, you expect to come back to a cool, comfortable room where you can relax, but that simply wasn’t possible. We came here for a week to celebrate my bachelor’s degree, but after four nights we had no choice but to find another hotel. To make matters worse, the hotel manager was rude and unprofessional. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. Lots if blood stains on them Close to everything you need(restaurants, bars, barbershop and supermarket)

Room was clean and beds comfortable. But this is not a 5 star hotel, 2.5. No amenities. 3 pool chairs, no pool service as advertised, no bottled water. Our room didn’t have balcony chairs, but they brought up 2 from the dining room. Staff are super nice and were helpful. The location is great… close to the beach and 5th in this area isn’t too loud. Starbucks and lovely French pastry shop are steps away!

Great location and friendly staff. The location is excellent for the price, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The pool area is nice, though not particularly impressive. Our initial room had a musty/mildewy smell, but the staff were accommodating and helped us change to another room that was better. The hotel uses multiple Wi-Fi networks, which made staying connected a bit difficult depending on where you were. There’s no bottled water in the rooms; instead, you fill bottles from a large water cooler in the lobby. Overall, we had a good stay and would still recommend it for the location and value.

Ame Hotel was great for us! Pros: The staff was incredibly friendly and wanted to help in any way they could. The hotel was always clean. They have reasonably priced breakfast right in the hotel. The location was great for having access to a wide variety of activities - food, shopping, etc. It's directly between 10th Ave (main road for restaurants and businesses by car/bike) and 5th Ave (main walking area with miles of shopping and restaurants) Beautiful rooftop pool with areas to sit. Cons: No off street parking - you can pay to park on the street, or there is a lot that you can park in a couple of blocks east. Because of the location, it does not quiet down until late. It didn't bother us and we didn't lose any sleep, but there will be music late into the evening. Unfortunately we didn't use the spa this time around, but it looks wonderful. Just too many other things to do near Playa!

The room we had was designed poorly. For example, the sink tended hit the basin then splash all over you. We had to be careful to turn on the water gently. The shower head was positioned so that you always had water splashing in your face from directly above. The view from the balcony was a wall about 15 feet away. The toilet clocked very easily because the big flush button was disabled. The safe instructions were incorrect. Very poor lighting and mirror position. On the plus side, it's very close to 5th street. It has a working elevator and the pool is not bad.

The location is excellent — very close to the beach, supermarkets, and all the nightlife, bars, and restaurants. This makes it extremely convenient, but it also means the hotel can be quite noisy at night. The room was very large and bright, which we really appreciated. However, the kitchen was poorly equipped. When we arrived, there was only one frying pan and nothing else. The microwave wasn’t working, and the light in the extractor hood was broken. The administration ordered kitchenware for us, but we only received it after six days. The light bulbs were replaced, but the microwave was never fixed. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, but the bed itself is quite short. For anyone taller than 175 cm, this could be uncomfortable. We stayed for almost a month, and unfortunately, housekeeping was very inconsistent. During the last week, the room wasn’t cleaned at all — even the trash was not taken out. This was probably the biggest downside of our stay. Also, the room photos showed a large mirror, which was actually not present in the room. Despite all of this, I would still consider giving this hotel a second chance. Overall, it has good potential, and we might return again in the future.

The Ame hotel is gorgeous. The front desk staff are just lovely . I love rooftop pool. The hotel is close to everything amazing restaurants up the block . Starbucks on the corner it’s a great location !!!
