Overall, this is a great budget-friendly place to stay in Playa del Carmen, away from all the business of the touristy areas. The pool and communal outdoor areas are really beautiful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The communal kitchen is extremely handy especially when traveling with kids. We would definitely stay here again. A few things could have been improved. First, the link to the hotel's address in the confirmation email led us to a completely different location about 15 minutes away. I was able to find the correct address via Google, but it was irritating, and had we been traveling via taxi or public transport I would have been very annoyed at the additional cost/time to get to the correct spot. Second, while the neighborhood and hotel itself feel very safe and secure, we were bothered by the fact that we could not lock the sliding door to the balcony of our room. I hope the hotel will address this and fix the lock. Third, there were three of us on the reservation, but they only left us two towels. I couldn't find anyone working to ask for an extra towel or extra toilet paper. All relatively minor inconveniences, but there's definitely some room for improvement.

The property is nice, the staff is super friendly, and its close to xcaret! The only thing that I would point out is that the pillows could be better, and the shower. The water flow shuts off after some time and it makes you have to turn back the knobs and turn it back on. Other than that, this hotel is okay.
