"Property was fairly close to everything, staff were excellent, rooms have no drawers or coffee makers etc. but were clean. Community kitchen is by the pool outside, fridge worked as did microwave and stove, they have a toaster oven as main stove oven didn’t appear to be working. They could’ve used some more cutlery. Overall a very pleasant stay."

"The wifi was a constant problem to keep connected. The room had a partial beach view which was nice. It was also overlooking the main public park in the city and it was LOUD."

"Overall we enjoyed our stay at Antera hotel and residences. The bed was super comfortable, we really enjoyed the rooftop patio with hot tub and it was great having a kitchen, two bathrooms and laundry facilities in our unit. The property is well maintained and beautiful and we really enjoyed the rooftop pools. The staff are friendly and eager to help but not all is perfect, there are a few issues with this hotel. The noise from a couple of bars thumps all night and is unreasonably loud. This isn’t the hotel’s fault but something that could ruin your stay, earplugs are highly recommended! I loved having a kitchen on holiday but this kitchen lacked cupboard space and more importantly a toaster,(we ended up using the oven to make toast). Unfortunately during our stay we encountered cockroaches in our room, they sprayed all the drains a couple of times but the problem still persisted. I was disappointed that the hotel didn’t check back with us or offer us anything for dealing with this issue. I would return for another visit but next time would ask for a quieter room. "

"One of the rooms was unclean, with blood on the bed, walls, and doorknob. The staff claimed it was likely paint, but it didn't look like paint. There was broken glass on the floor (not safe for our kid), and the staff refused to inspect it or replace the room. We were relocated to another room for just one night, but we'll have to return the next evening. Deciding that the hotel didn't seem safe, we checked out and searched for another hotel. I won't recommend this hotel to others. "

"The hotel is clean; location is great. Lots of restaurants closeby. Their idea of breakfast is 1-item, on a pre-prepared, saran wrapped dessert plate, that you must request from the front desk attendant. Next housekeeping is not consistent with DAILY room cleaning. I recently booked a week's stay, and didn’t get room service until my 3rd day, after asking the front desk about the regularity of the service. Next, no comforter or blanket on the bed. I got only oneTowels; had to ask for a hand towel, and the bathrug for the floor in front of the shower. This is a fall hazard. I was told they did not have enough; besides they were cream-colored, meant to be white. No cups/glasses, no tissues in the room. The tv is all apps; most don't work. No local channels. There's 1 bathroom in the lobby of which the light was out of service. I brought it to the front desk attendant's attention; he acknowledged my concern. You get better service at Holiday Inn. Forget about the Rooftop pool!! The only thing this place has going for it is location, and fairly clean."

"The rooms were clean, spacious, and serviced daily, which we really appreciated. We stayed in Room 205, and unfortunately, the bathroom had a noticeable sewer smell. When we mentioned it to the receptionist, there seemed to be a misunderstanding, and we were informed the hotel was fully booked, so changing rooms wasn’t an option. There was also construction happening during the day, and as a result, the pool couldn’t be used because small white debris was falling into the water. That said, the staff were fantastic, and the location was excellent — both definite highlights of our stay. I would have happily given 5 stars if not for the bathroom odor issue. Overall, I still totally recommend this place and believe it’s a great option, especially because of the service and location."
