In the old part of Palma and all the activities and shopping around there, great restaurants too. The only downside was when they kicked all the fans watching soccer out at halftime because security wanted to close the bar area, which was really a restaurant, not a bar."

"A lovely hotel that is very clean. An excellent pool area with a bar serving food and drinks, at a reasonable price. The rooms are comfortable, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The centre is a 20mins walk but we walked by the marina, which was beautiful. The hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood, I thoroughly recommend this hotel if you want a relaxing break. We loved our time here."

"I loved my stay at Hotel Balear. The hotel itself (decor and architecture, fixtures) reminded me in the best way of childhood experiences in European hotels in the 70s and 80s. Everything was clean, nice, well kept, and comfortable (I slept very well). The single room was large, with plenty of storage space if one were staying for a week or so. We also noticed that the dark-haired housekeeper was no longer there, and the cleaning was not as good without her. "Horrible Hotel, No staff, motel grade. I don’t know how it is advertised 4-5 star. We arrived at 1am the hotel lobby was dark no staff no attendant. We had to yell to have someone coming to the front desk to check us in. We had to park our rented car at the entrance as no valet. Neighborhood looks run down and you have to cross the street to go to the beach. We booked this hotel for 5 nights but we had to leave after just 9 hrs. Pool location terrible between buildings. Stay away of this...
