The room was clean and tidy, which we appreciated. However, there was a shared washroom outside our room that others also used frequently, so there was a lot of noise and activity that sometimes made it hard to rest. Then since 4 am, a persistent beeping noise coming from their office disrupted our sleep, making it difficult to get a peaceful night’s rest. There was no issue with the room, but it can be noisy for some people.

All good until arrival. Older lady at the hotel appeared once I had laid down for the night to sleep and tried to open the door to my room, shouted at me behind the door - aggressively. All very disconcerting behaviour.

The property was easy to access and great for one night however the bathroom was terrible and there was quite a bit of noise from the road. The bathroom has a window into the bedroom without any curtains or blinds so you have no privacy when using the toilet and the bath has a high pressure shower head that would be great if there was anything to stop it from splashing all over the room as you try to use it. For one night to see the tower it is an ok place to stay but I wouldn't want to stay more than one night.

It’s a very interesting system of self check in. In order to check in a few days prior you have to scan in your passport and a picture of you with your passport, fill out all your information and then you will be checked in by email. When you show up at the property they give you a link in the email which takes you to a separate page where you can click some buttons and it would unlock the door to the outside of the building, you then have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs to the elevator. You can then click open the next door, which allows you to get into a reception area with several rooms. Then finally, you would use your Link to click open your own hotel room door. It was easier than we thought it would be. The decor of this facility is very interesting. We felt like we were sleeping in a museum. The air conditioning is not very powerful so it took several hours to cool the room down. in the morning the breakfast is on the fifth floor, but it is not included. You pay five euros per person. Breakfast was OK nothing to write home about.

Atrocious. We asked online if we could check in early and were told yes, no problem, and were given the entrance codes and room number. Upon entry, we were literally screamed at NO by an old woman behind reception who we hadn’t seen. She had zero English but treated us like we were scum of the earth. She shooed us away until mid afternoon. When we checked in, we saw that our room was at best, kitsch, at worst, untouched since the 70s. Our bed was thin and wiry, but at least we didn’t have bedbugs, as others have reported. The walls were paper thin and the old woman’s bathroom was right next to ours, so we had little privacy. The AC didn’t work, and there was a weird hose shoved through a hole in the wall near our door. The locks on the doors were complicated, and we attracted the attention of the old lady when we were trying to practice using them, who pushed us aside to do it for us with a look of disgust at our idiocy. We skipped breakfast to avoid further contact. We couldn’t wait to get the hell out of there. Pisa was wonderful, but don’t stay here for the love of God.

Das Personal war super, das möchte ich äußerst hervorheben! Allerdings war diese Unterkunft die schlechteste, die ich erlebt habe. Das Bad war komplett!!!!! verschimmelt, die Duschbrause ganz ekelhaft. Generell wurde sich bei der Instandhaltung keine Mühe gemacht, das alte Fenster zur Straßenseite ist so alt, dass es kaum richtig verschlossen werden kann, es Isoliert keine Geräusche (und in Italien wird gerne und viel gehupt) – aber auch Waschbecken fehlten beide Siebe… Das Badezimmer ist durch ein Fenster vom Schlafzimmer getrennt, das mit einer unschönen Klebefolie verschlimmbessert wurde. Kein Duschvorhang…(natürlich schimmelt es überall) Auch die Toilette ist in keinem schönen Zustand. Das Lobby ist atemberaubend schön und Detailreich, dafür ist das Zimmer kahl, ohne auch nur ein Bild – sehr lieblos, ich wurde auch das Gefühl nicht los, dass ich in einem Damenhaus wohne, ich würde hier kein zweites Mal verbleiben. Wenigstens waren Handtuch und Bettwäsche sauber.. Allerdings waren Kissen und Matratze sehr unbequem, nach 4 Nächten wollte ich eigentlich nur noch nach Hause… Das Frühstücksbuffet ist immer dasselbe: Toast, Schinken, Käse, Ei, fertiges Kuchen und Veoissant sowie Nougatcreme, Honig und Butter. Leider keine Tomate oder Gurke dazu und auch keine Abwechslung. Aber wenigstens preiswert, wer es nicht bereits bei der Buchung hat, zahlt nur 5€ pro Person & Frühstück. CheckIn sowie Checkout sehr einfach und modern

Wir waren ausschließlich zum Schlafen dort, da wir früh los mussten. Die Rezeption war sehr nett und half uns beim online Checkin und wir konnten auch unsere Koffer unterstellen. Wasserkocher und Tassen bekamen wir auf Nachfrage. Der Eingangsbereich ähnelt eher einem Museum oder Tempel.
