The staff were genuinely helpful, and every restaurant recommendation they gave us was spot-on. Lucca is a beautiful town, and this hotel is the ideal place to relax and truly enjoy it. One more thing — breakfast was absolutely delicious and always fresh. The woman working each morning was especially attentive and would make us the perfect coffee without us even having to ask. "The room and staff were fine, though there is not a full-time desk person after 7:00PM and on the weekends. The biggest surprise (Not a good one) There is no elevator, so bringing up your baggage can be a problem. But it is in a great location and is very affordable."
