"Excellent hotel. The front desk staff was amazing Luca, Tomasso and his colleagues understood right away that we had a tough time with our previous hotel. "The structure has a ton of character and the hotel is very centrally located. However, I would expect a higher level of service from an establishment boasting a Michelin key. For example, when we vacated the rooms and had to store out luggage for a little while longer (as we still wanted to enjoy the city of Florence), they didn't have a safe deposit box for us to leave our passports and valuables at, and we had to carry them with us. This is a basic requirement from any reasonable hotel."

"This is a lovely B&B right on the Piazza della Signoria. You cannot get more convenient! It is clean and well-kept, with much history. The staff is so kind and helpful. There is no lift, though they bring your luggage up and down, so you only need to navigate the stairs yourself. There is a made to order breakfast each day in the dining room (community style). "Borgia di Firenze shares the building with other properties. It is central to everything, so convenient. We were serenaded every night with an opera singer practicing his craft in the square. Our favorite restaurant was literally 10-15 steps from the hotel. Small elevator; great room with modern amenities; don’t expect the typical lobby that is staffed around the clock. Did not know what to expect but were very pleasantly surprised. We’ll stay here again when we return to Florence. Hopefully...
