"Fabulous old building but fully refurbished with modern suites. Only 12 suites, all unique with 2 on each floor. Loads of room. Staff fabulous. Only minus point is there’s no bar or restaurant, but it is located within an area that has literally hundreds on its doorstep. Would definitely stay there again."

"Beautiful top floor apartment in a traditional Tuscan building. We had small backpacks so managing the small lift and stairs was easy. Our room, although small was extremely comfortable and spotless clean. Air conditioning and large window door opening. Be aware, if you leave the window open mosquitos will visit you. "Overall, this is a great place to stay. The breakfast is very good, they have a bar open for a few hours in the evening, and there is a stunning roof terrace where you can enjoy an aperitif while watching the sun set. The staff is all very kind and helpful, and the room we stayed in was gorgeous. It's in a very good location, lots of charm, good amenities, and a good price. "

"Lovely hotel, though we were in a room next to the lift which was surprisingly noisy. Our bathroom (which turned out to be a shower room) was beautifully fitted but unreasonably small. The terrace was fine but overhyped as it is confined with multitudes of tourists streaming past which felt far from luxurious. Considering how overwhelmingly busy the location is, a roof terrace would be preferable. The staff were wonderful and the concierge, Dario, was marvellous."
