"I stayed at Arlo Soho in NYC Aug. 6-8. Their Hotels.com profile included free Wi-Fi and gym in the amenities. However, I was charged an additional “resort fee” of $34/day for Wi-Fi, gym, “bike access,” and two cans of water. Ripoff!"

"The best part of this hotel is the proximity and the size of the room. Hotel staff really hands-off, no amenities. Hotel very out dated and kind of dingy looking."

"This hotel is amazing- big rooms, friendly staff, very cool neighborhood. Big emphasis on "very cool neighborhood" - so if you are not someone who wants to party might not be the best. It is extremely noisy just outside the hotel until 4AM on the weekends. Other than that I have no complaints, but its just good to know!!"

"Stay on Halloween night, did not mind the rooftop & lobby parties and the crowds that came with it. I DID MIND SEEING DEAD BUG STAINS ON THE BLINDS AND 2 ROACHES IN THE BATHROOM. I get it NYC is pretty dirty but I have never seen pests in other hotels I’ve stayed at so it makes me wonder how cleaned down our room was, if at all. I didnt think to take photos at the time but I will say it was room 96."

"Disappointing Stay – Hotel Needs Serious Improvements
Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was disappointing. While there are a few positives, the negatives significantly outweigh them.
The Bad:
* Outdated TVs: The televisions are old and terrible. You cannot connect or cast from your phone to watch Netflix or other streaming services.
* Empty bathroom amenities: The shampoo and soap dispensers were consistently empty.
* Dirty curtains: The curtains were visibly dirty and needed proper...
