I stayed here with my teenage son on a short stop through Paris. The staff were wonderful and friendly. The room was lovely - the inside seating area in the room was perfect to devour local pastries and plan our day, and the terrace was lovely for a little nightcap! And, of course, the highlight was our private pool and sauna time. An absolutely wonderful tranquil treat on an otherwise busy trip!

We loved our stay at Hotel Ballu. We stayed for a weekend in January in a Deluxe Double; the hotel is easily walkable (~25 mins) from Gare du Nord with similar distances to the 'top' of Montmarte and Opera. We barely used the metro at all. We were celebrating my boyfriends birthday and the staff had helped me arrange balloons in the room, a handwritten note and complimentary sweets on arrival. The fluffy robes and slippers were great and we enjoyed the private use of the pool/sauna area. Comfy bed, nice products in the bathroom and would definitely recommend.

J’ai adoré cet hôtel. Tout était parfait. Les chambres encore plus belles que sur les photos. Peut être la seul chose perfectible serait d’augmenter la température de la piscine de quelques degrés supplémentaires.

Great location with lots of cool places to eat and have a coffee. Easy walking to the centre of Paris. The bed was amazingly comfortable.

Really beautiful hotel. Our room was super clean and the decor was amazing. All of the public areas of the hotel too - clean and stunning. We used the spa every day of our stay - definitely worth booking your hour in each day it was lovely to go in there after a long day of walking. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was beautiful and the room had everything you could need. Reception was really helpful and great service throughout. We also ate lunch at the restaurant on our last day and that again was great the setting is lovely and food & service was 10/10. Location wise we found it to be perfect. Walking distance to Montemarte, a really short walk to Pace de Clichy metro & felt safe with plenty to do the whole time we were there. Would definitely recommend and will for sure stay again!

Great location - quiet street, but convenient and walkable to Montmartre attractions and to train and metro stations. Nicely furnished rooms, nice restaurant and bar. Would stay here again!

As a solo traveller this property had an excellent location for most of the Paris areas that I wanted to be in - Opera, Louvre, Montmartre and while it is really close to Moulin Rouge it’s not a trashy area. Lots of food choices nearby as well, plenty of cafes and restaurants for all budgets. Hotel bar is nice, cocktails are delicious (need to ask bar staff what’s in them as menu is light on detail.) The hotel staff, in particular the reception staff (especially Estelle) are really friendly and helpful. The pool and sauna are a delight to use, and the pool is high enough for laps. You get fluffy robes and slippers along with a bottle of filtered water everyday in the room, it’s the little things that make a difference!

The hotel staff was amazing. They really went out of there way to make our stay enjoyable. I booked three Jr. suites and the rooms were spacious and bright. We ate breakfasts at the hotel and found it delicious and beautiful but slow. Our evening dinner was excellent as well. I'm so glad I found this little gem. I will return again.

the room is marvelous。there is a separate sink to the pantry which is veey convenient。our room is facing the courtyard and the bathroom has a big window which is a big big bonus。front desk is helpful in booking restaurant and all staff are very friendly。defintely will revisit again next time to paris。

Great hotel in Montmatre area.
We had a very nice stay in Hotel Ballu. The personal touch of the gentleman at the check in was outstanding, and we had a jr. suite for our family of three on the top floor. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean with big windows to the roof tops near by. The hotel is located only a few minutes away from the metro on Place de Clichy, and is nevertheless on a quiet street. The regular breakfast is not the full continental, and that is the only thing to put the finger on with regards to the price of it. However, dinner in the hotel was very good. The reception area and lounge has a nice ambiance, and is inviting.

This Hotel is a gem. A 4 minute walk will bring you to Metro Place de Clichy, 15-20 minutes to Opera, the Haussman shopping stores or Place du Tertre. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The heated terrasse is a pleasant place to have dinner or just to hang out with a glass from the bar. There is a cool and relax vibe from this hotel and we will be happy to go again on our next visit to Paris.

Gorgeous property & rooms, friendly & helpful staff, lovely sauna & pool, close to the trendy Pigalle neighborhood & multiple metro stops. Perfect for a couple who doesnt need a ton of space. Note that you'll travel 20-30 minutes by metro to the majority of tourist attractions.

Nice Hotel in Pigalle
Lovely hotel in Pigalle. Quiet, clean and modern. Very comfy bed. I stayed in a Superior room which was big for a Paris hotel. For 2 people it might be tight as there isn’t anywhere to store luggage. The lights are a bit confusing when you want to turn them all off at night. I just kept twisting dials till I got it right. The rooms have a tea kettle and coffee machine. Le Bally has a small pool and sauna you can reserve if you’d like a dip. There is a restaurant with outdoor patio seating. The food was average, but good in a pinch. Overall, a good hotel for Paris. I would stay here again.
