"Clean rooms, very helpful and friendly staff."

"Last night in St. John's before flying out, selected this location because it was close for returning a rental car. Super clean and great staff turned out to be the nicest place we stayed on our 2 week trip but it's not walking friendly. 2 good chain restaurants attached to the hotel and we did walk to the mall - over 30 minutes - but unless you have a car it's too far from any tourist spots for any extended stay."

"We stayed at the hotel in the suites directly across from the main building. We were disappointed that the infinity spa was not available as advertised. We did have access to a large juzzazi tub in our room but it did not offer the same ambience we were wanting. The suites were clean but very outdated. A bar fridge was available but was noisy and leaked. We informed the front desk but no maintenance came to resolve the concern. We also required making calls to front desk to request more supplies...

"Rooms were nice. Reception and breakfast staff friendly. Breakfast good however would have been nice to have a bit of a choice for the hot dish."

"The checkin, checkout and shuttle driver were very helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, as well as a fabulous dinner at the restaurant next door."

"Liked: room size and layout; easy parking and access; closet layout. Clean Disliked: room fan/ac/ heat was impossibly loud making it difficult to sleep- hear the tv or even carry on a conversation. (Room 406) -1 for that issue. Desk staff were unhelpful and not typical of my previous NL experiences. Over a 4 night stay, we engaged at check in/out and 3 questions - they couldn’t care less and were of no help."

"Very convenient hotel, whoever designed it did an amazing job. The king room is not huge but beautifully designed, very modern and has a really good coffee machine. Maryna on reception was very polite and helpful."

"The character in the hotel was amazing and the location was perfect walking distance to downtown easy to get to restaurants"

"Had to ask for housekeeping to clean the room. The pool area was never monitored, as small kids vomited in the hot tub. As well the hot tub jets were out of service on 2 different occasions. Service at the restaurant was not the greatest. For the most part, my week went well, but this was a lot of issues for a 5 night stay."

"Great stay. Petty Harbour room with private bathroom. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Loved the private bathroom with shower and Native brand shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Breakfast was a definite highlight during which the owner Rob offered recommendations and advice on the local sites, stories, and jokes a plenty. Fantastic location. Would absolutely stay again."

"Not right downtown but only a 10 minute walk to the city center, in a nice area right on the harbour with shopping and dining relatively close. Room was adequate but only 1 chair is provided. We asked three different staff for a second chair and 3 times were told that the order of chairs had not come in yet - not sure I believed them. We were in the hotel for several days and sometimes you need a break during the day. Having 1 person have to use the bed to sit on is not an ideal option. Other...

"At arrival, once semi unpacked in our room the A/C didn't work. Had to change rooms and it was a long day traveling by car. Also A/C was not working through out the whole hotel. Very disappointing as it was on the pricey side to stay there."

"Room was good. Amenities were good . Close to lots places downtown. Didn’t like the stairs. I was 4 floors up. Hard on the knees but I survived. Pretty good overall. Great restaurant and pub included 😎"
