"Liked: room size and layout; easy parking and access; closet layout. Clean Disliked: room fan/ac/ heat was impossibly loud making it difficult to sleep- hear the tv or even carry on a conversation. (Room 406) -1 for that issue. Desk staff were unhelpful and not typical of my previous NL experiences. Over a 4 night stay, we engaged at check in/out and 3 questions - they couldn’t care less and were of no help."

"The governor was a great place to stay, I’d go there again. I wasn’t thrilled with service in the pub even though I tipped. Maybe regulars are the most important people in there and I can appreciate that. Might need to spend some money on those booth seats cause they’re pretty worn. Other than those things, the governor as a whole is a good place."

"Great stay. Petty Harbour room with private bathroom. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Loved the private bathroom with shower and Native brand shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Breakfast was a definite highlight during which the owner Rob offered recommendations and advice on the local sites, stories, and jokes a plenty. Fantastic location. Would absolutely stay again."

"Nous avons du payer un extra pour le parking de l'hôtel, ce qui est très décevant sachant le prix de la chambre. La moitié des lumières ne fonctionnaient pas et les prises du côté gauche non plus. Le coin était bruyant et le service pas terrible voir même bête. Nous avons été très déçu de notre expérience. Ceci dit, la chambre était très propre et la salle de bain était confortable."

"At arrival, once semi unpacked in our room the A/C didn't work. Had to change rooms and it was a long day traveling by car. Also A/C was not working through out the whole hotel. Very disappointing as it was on the pricey side to stay there."
