Good location. Good value for thenprice. The room was very small, but very clean and had decent airconditioning. The staffe was very friendly and helpful. There was good, free wifi, free parking, and a little cafě/ bar where beverages and snacks were available.

El área malísima, ni shampoo tuve que salir a la hora de mi llegada casi 10 de la noche a comprar y terrible ambiente sucio y de temer, jamás regresaría allí, aire acondicionado muy ruidoso viejo, en fin, mala expetiencia.

Cheap but lacking in necessities

The room appeared to be cozy and decently decorated with its orange theme interior, but was very lacking in that there was no running water at night and that the air conditioning fan was no match for the hot and humid Panamanian weather. There was nothing to be done about the water, but the hotel staff were helpful despite language barriers that caused misunderstanding about their shuttle bus services. It is also to be noted that in an effort to save electricity, the staff turns off the electricity when you leave (which is nice to the environment). So upon return, it is the responsibility of the guest to inform the hotel staff to turn on the electricity again (which we were unaware of until we returned to a sweltering, non-electrically functioning room).

Advantage of staying at Bella vista

The hotel is ok for the price. Staff are not particularly friendly and helpful. It is good that they have a pickup service although with delay.they also do not confirm the you will be picked up by email. But they have a regular pick up service at the airport which works quite well

I would stay again

Typical older downtown hotel I choose it because it has a mini bus service from & to the airport. Normally the cab ride is $25 usd. The ride is free to the hotel and without traffic, it is about 30 minutes. $10 usd for ride back to airport 2 am 4.30 am 7.30 am are the morning opcions for the bus schedule The desk was great jennifer was fabulous. She was off at 11 pm and had ordered the bus ride and filled out the wakeup call sheet before she left. Set your alarm as they missed my wakeup call at 4 am, so I held up the van for about 10 minutes. There is a good tipical food place 2 minute walk from the hotel toward the canal zone Excellent meats & good prices with A GREAT wait staff.

HOTAL VELLA VISTA ES UN DESASTRE

Realmente fue lo peor de mi viaje al regresar desde Argentina, en ese Hotel pude quedarme solo medio dia hasta encontrar otro, ese no es un hotel realmente es un desastre ademas de la mala atencion y prepotencia de su dueño, tuve que recurrir a defensa del consumidor de Panama para que me devolvieran el dinero, si quieren fotos de la habitacion diganme como y se las enviare con gusto.

Have stayed here many times. It is an old no frills hotel that is also clean and safe. It is on the edge of the business district where there is a lot of shopping and nightlife. For me the main selling point of this hotel is the free airport shuttle, which now is not free but cost $4 for the two of us, which is a steal. There is a small bar attached to the hotel and it serves a limited amount of food, mostly sandwiches. Not for those needing a lot of comfort but those of us who are passing through it is perfect.

Oldie but good

The hotel is pretty old, i was just in panama for a layover so it worked for me
