The location was a great tucked away location in Casco Viejo. There’s not a “front desk” which is fine as the management team did a good job of answering questions before and during our stay. The unit was great as it has a kitchen as well as a washer/dryer machine which worked perfect for our longer stay in Panama overall. The location was close to a lot of great restaurants and less than an 8 minute walk from a local “super”-market where you can get some snacks and drinks at a cheaper price. The neighborhood was fun to explore and worked well for our family of four. The unit was great for kids as it had two bedrooms each with its own bathroom. We’d love to visit again in the future!

The unit we stayed in was large and fully equipped, with a balcony and a full kitchen. The building was secure and conveniently located within walking distance to everything in casco viejo. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby and we felt mostly safe walking around. The only issue we had was that the code to our lockbox didn’t work when we arrived. However, we texted the property staff and they were able to give us another code that worked right away. The internet in the unit worked fine, but be sure to have a data plan or eSIM so that you can connect with the property and order Ubers, especially when you first get in, as the WiFi in the airport can be very spotty.

Great property in a great location. Very secluded in a back street, away from the noisy square, yet close enough to easily walk to various restaurants serving delicious food. Also, very friendly locals, especially Benjamin, who helped me to find a taxi and recommended some good restaurants in the neighborhood.

It was absolutely wonderful. You just may need to bring your own soap for one of the bathrooms. Perhaps that was not typical though. I especially appreciated the cleanliness of the property, the view of the water, and the easy-to-use AC.

Very cute, spacious, and in an excellent and safe location. The property is on the edge of all of the central activity and what appears to be a gentrifying area. It is heavily guarded by police at night. Despite the heavily police presence, as a female traveler I felt safe at all times. In fact, their presence seemed unnecessarily excessive, but what do I know. I loved my first apartment-3A! It had a comfortable King sized bed, and lots of windows and natural light. I also loved some of the small but intentional comfort amenities the property provided. For example, on the nightstand bedside the bed were earplugs and sleeping masks. They both came into use because there was some noise in the evenings. They also provided a few laundry detergent packets for the washing machine, and had complimentary waters in the apartment. Little things, but noticed and appreciated. Unfortunately, there were some maintenance issues and I had to downsize to a smaller apartment, but 3A is a great apartment. And, if I were to stay again, I’d want rooms on the opposite side facing the water for the view. Finally, many reviews warned of difficulties contacting the hosts. It seems the property addressed that problem and now has 24/7 live chat support. I needed to reach out multiple times during my stay and I was always able to access someone. I’d definitely stay at Casa Love by Wynwood again.

Casa Contemporanea is a beautiful house with cosy apartments right off Plaza Herrera, in the center of Panama's old town. The area is full of restaurants, bars, shops, it is safe and very walkable. The apartment was very clean, with great amenities and comfortable beds. communication with the owners was swift and always helpful. HIGHLY recommended

Was a quiet street just on outskirts of the main hub in Casco. The apartment was really nice and the bed was so comfortable which is super important for me while travelling. I would recommend the host adds a curtain to the window in the kitchen as people can easily see in to the apartment while passing by to get to their own. Felt like a lack of privacy. Otherwise amazing stay!

We could not enter the property with the code. Eventually the cleaning lady let us in and we left our bags there whilst she finished her job. We returned later and still could not enter with the code. The owners did not respond to the messaging. Finally we got in as other guests were leaving the building. The apartment was clean and the a/c was on. Then the owners messaged us that we could not stay there! We replied that we wanted to stay there. They said there was a maintenance issue. Not that we could see but they insisted we move to another building. It was in an undesirable area, We could not enter the apartment there either as there was not an operable keypad and it blocked us. I sent a video of this to the owners and said we were leaving and wanted a full refund. Totally unprofessional and unacceptable.

Great location but sadly the apartment was not very clean with dirty floors, dirty toilet and hair in the basin. There was a large hole in the second bedroom ceiling, which smelled of wet plaster. Great shower and comfortable beds and very central to Casio Viejo, so a shame it was dirty.

At self-check-in, the code they gave us to access the key led us to the surprise of knowing there was no key! Since it was 9 PM, it took a long time to contact customer service via WhatsApp, and it was a very unpleasant experience, uncertain about whether we would have a place to sleep or not. They finally resolved the issue after a cumbersome 40 minutes. Place is nice tough.

Do you want to have an amazing time? When you answer this question I want you to think about all the things that are necessary to have an amazing time. I would like to say that Casa Love is that. The cozy modern style apartment is tucked away in a colorful back street that allows you to view the seas tide from your window. With a 5 minute walk you can be in the heart of the plaza ready to explore nearby historical sites local to the area. The beds are all quite comfortable, I woke up refreshed each time and never sore or uncomfortable. My only concern was with the air conditioning and I promptly was provided additional assistance and then an eventual relocation which I greatly appreciate. The communication with the staff is quick and easy through Whatsapp. Would recommend and would come again!

Great 1bd apartment

Only con about the place is that the walls are paper thin. Bring ear plugs! Apparently roosters don’t only crow during sunrise, they crow all night! And they’re not the only ones. You can hear absolutely everything that is happening outside. But don’t let that deter you from this place. Seems like every hotel in that area is paper thin. It’s a very nice one bedroom apartment that has everything you’ll need. It’s also located near everything. I didn’t realize how tiny the town of Casco Viejo was. You can literally walk the entire area in less than an hour. It's essentially a tourist trap. But if you like that, you’ll love this place.

Location was good. Near a main street through Casco Viejo but quieter since a couple blocks away. Apartment newly renovated, clean and reasonably spacious for the price. But kitchen very basically equipped with limited utensils etc. needed for any real cooking. King bed comfortable but "hot" water was more like "warm" water. Air condtioning worked but needed to set bedroom to 16 or 17 C and kitchen/living area at 23-24 C to end up on average comfortable. Entry instructions were not clear that a key box between the exterior door and a second interior door would have a card as well as key with the card opening the second door. Wynwood sent several messages via Expedia but failed to answer any of the messages we sent back with questions, asking for entry instructions a day early due to our travel, asking for more soap/shampoo (since we were staying 9 days) or confirming OK if we did not check out until closer to Noon due to flight schedules and lack of any place to store luggage after checking out. So don't count on communication with management, at least not that way. So on balance a good place but not 5 star.

BEWARE!!!

The apt was ok. It was clean and somewhat quiet. The kitchen has nothing to cook with so if you want to do meal prep, bring your own pots and pans. If you’re eating out and need a refrigerator and a small microwave with a coffee pot, you’re fine. BUT….. we had an AC leak which ruined the ENTIRE experience. The ACs are in the ceiling and one of them decided to start pouring water out onto the floor. Luckily my husband found a housekeeper who called the owner. After much back and forth, cancellation of my husband’s business meetings, etc. a crew showed up and “fixed it”. The owner absolutely refused to move us anywhere except to the first floor of the building. I booked a 3rd floor apt for the view, safety, and less noise. We refused saying they could put us in another of their units…?they had lots of vacancies in Casco. Juan, the owner of Wynwood refused saying that other units were more expensive. So we stayed. Woke up the next morning to another flood which soaked my clothes ruining a $200 pair of shoes. We canceled a prebooked $500 excursion and called Juan again. Finally after much arguing he agreed to move us. THE ABSOLUTE WORSE customer service I have ever experienced. Instead of comping the nights, he gave us an $81 refund which I am still waiting for (“up to 20 days”). No compensation for my ruined personal items, cancelled excursions, business meetings which we have to come back for.
