"Palazzo Gambirasi is an absolute gem in the heart of Centro Storico. I normally go for branded hotels but found this by chance and couldn’t have been happier. Super friendly and helpful staff, amazing location and a wonderful Rome vibe. Just walk out the door and you’re surrounded by restaurants and within easy walking distance to many classic sites. The room was clean and charming with an exposed rustic wood ceiling. I will definitely return."

We are allowed to leave our bags while we continued our sightseeing for the day and that was a great perk. The location was excellent to places that you could walk within a mile or two. "Welcomed warmly by Marvin at reception and appreciated the information on the local area activities. Our room for 3 adults was very clean, comfortable, cool with A/C during record heatwave, and great bathroom & shower space. Many restaurants and shops including markets and laundry service within the block. Walking distance (30 minutes) from Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel & Colosseum. We had a great experience staying here!"

"We really loved staying here. It is SO close to the Pantheon we basically stumbled across it (how could you not) on our way to dinner the first night. Being our first time it was a real "WOW" moment. Great coffee shop right around the corner. User error, but took the second night to figure out the thermostat (power button is on the top, duh). Our host was excellent re: communication which was very helpful for alleviating first-timer anxieties. My daughter did not feel well during the trip and...

"Great location, friendly staff, and very clean. Air conditioning worked very well. I would highly recommend if you want to be in walking distance to many of the sights. They also helped us arrange a drop off to the cruise port that literally took us (and all our luggage for a total of 3 weeks in Europe) to just a few steps away from the entrance to the cruise ship. That was priceless!"

"We liked A lot the location - One of the best in Rome, close and walking distance to everything. Our room was large and nice. We liked very much Monica - The Lady that runs the place and goes out of her way to help. The big problem was the fact that the place has no elevator. Monica helped us to bring the luggage up on about 30 steps to our room. We have no idea why Expedia is ignoring this fact and why there is no mention of the elevator absence in the booking process."
