"The rooms are always cozy and quiet, as well as the bathrooms are AMAZING here. I love the japanese style washroom as well as the beds are comfy. Only complaint is they are a little low to the ground, but the only person who had a problem with that was my parents. Other than that this property is so beautiful and quiet and low key, my favorite place to stay thank you all in Kyoto!!"

"The staff were extremely kind and helpful, assisting us with calling restaurants to make advance reservations and arranging taxi bookings. The hotel rooms were very clean, and by Japanese standards, the room size was quite spacious. The location is also very convenient—quiet yet close to the action. Highly recommended!

"Beautiful and simple stay.. it was very easy to get to universal studios. Wouldn’t make this a long term stay given the area.. very local area. But if this place was in a main city I’d stay here everyday! "
