"Breakfast was decent. Staff friendly and helpful. We were given a lesser room than booked, a bit disappointing. The sink in our bathroom didn’t drain properly and the water ran all over the floor. We reported it but it did not get fixed in the 2 days we were there. Had to ask for a kettle to make coffee and were given one right away. Room amenities are bare minimum. Nice location. Lots of trees. Balcony. Close to beach."

"Resort did not even have a soap holder. Taxi from hotel to the pier was 20 baht per person. I had 2 ppl & there was another couple with us. The lady at the front desk charged 100 baht for the 4 of us because she said we had our own taxi. We should consider as sharing because we pay separate. She said unless we share with other people, then it’s 20 baht. My advise is if you go with other people, you check out separate so you don’t have to pay more for taxi. This is a scam & I will not come back to Diamond. "

"This was our second time to Le Vimarn – and as first time – a totally UNFORGETTABLE stay!! Everything we like is there – amazing beach – good food – and the BEST Staff you can imagine! We did notice 2 improvements from our first stay to this stay: 1. Nice with choice for breakfast (the new card) – and the best fresh juices – so nice 2. Staff at the sunchairs was very active in removing non hotel guests and unused sunchairs still with towels on – so there was always space for us We felt like coming home – we simply LOVE Le Vimarn – especially because of the crew! "Location: 20 odd minutes walk to the town centre but song thaews are easily accessible. Room: Good size for a family of 4 but the bathroom needs some touch ups. The safety box in our room was broken too. Cleanliness: The room was clean, however the reception area smells unpleasant. Breakfast: Basic - not much varieties. Staff: Some are reasonably friendly but some are not. This resort offers all the basics for a reasonably okay stay but nothing is above average. The best feature of this resort is the direct access to the beach and small snorkelling areas. It is surrounded by restaurants and bars. The fire show is also not too far away. "
