Amazing plante!

Amazing staff and place! This is our second stay, and everybody is so friendly and the service is extraordinary! Would strongly recommend others to stay here if they are visiting Koh samet!

Beautiful hotel on beach

Beautiful hotel, massive room with great view. Breakfast buffet loads of choice. Staff friendly & helpful. 2 pools but stayed on beach the whole time. Loved it so much I extended my stay.

Was the perfect spot to unwind after a crazy few days in Bangkok. Beautiful quiet beach. You don’t even have to leave the resort as there is a few restaurants on the strip to choose from. But if you did want to you can easily take a taxi into the township where there is so much to explore. Note Ao Prao also has its own private speed boat & pier to arrive on.

Full of charm in a peaceful tropical setting with such lovely warm staff. Room spacious and had all you need. Great views and fab Thai food. Would definitely return and recommend. I thought it was good value for money. One warning - be sure to go to the Ao Prao Pier (specifically for guests of Samed Resorts) when you are on your way, as if the taxi driver doesn’t know this, he might take you to the wrong (super busy) general pier where you get hustled into buying probably the wrong boat transfer!

Most Needed Peace & Quiet

It suited us the most because we’ve much needed peace & quite. The location is not for party animals, however it’s not far from all the action areas where you need a taxi & front desk would be happy to help. All staffs were willing to help. There were 2 individuals stood out the most were Izzy & note. The weather was so good without any rain. The resort is on the west side of the island and you can enjoy beautiful sunsets almost everyday. This is the driest part of Thailand even on raining season. We are already planning to go back next year.

The beach makes you feel like you're in paradise - very clean and beautiful. Our room was very spacious and clean. You can exchange money directly in the hotel which was very helpful. We really liked the breakfast buffet with the soup station. They varied the warm dishes also from day to day. What we missed was a station to fill up water during the day. You only receive 2 bottles of water per person per day which isn't enough on hot days. For the price we payed they could offer unlimited free water during the stay. We stayed in smaller not so exclusive hotels before and they all had unlimited water for the guests. The prices for food and drinks in the resort are too high so that we only ate there 2 from 6 nights. The other nights we had dinner outside and also snacks for lunch because it's nearly double the price then outside. Walking in the centre takes about 20 minutes.

This was a spontaneous trip to Koh Samet and found this gem on Expedia. I originally booked for one night but upon arrival I realized this was paradise so decided to stay for 2 nights The manager Knot was extremely helpful, polite and professional. He took great care of us and the entire stay was enjoyable. From the breakfast to the clean rooms to the views and more, this place should be on your bucket list. I will be back. Thank you to the entire staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful

Beachfront hotel, expensive food, drinks, services

We stayed here for the 2nd time after some years. The speedboat brings you fast to hotel at certain times with a price of 600 THB p.p incl. return. Good things are that the place is at the beach and it is quiet with clear water and beautiful sand. Rooms are ok with basic needs and wifi works. Downside is that food and drinks are very expensive compared to the prices on the other side of the island and also compared to other destinations in Thailand. The quality of the food was not above average. Also the services are totally rediciously priced - a normal 1 hr oil massage is 1200 THB++. No wonder that the massage place was totally empty every day. There is also no gym which should be at this level of room prices. With this pricing we will most probably not any more come for the 3rd time as the quality/price -ratio is not good any more. We do enjoy very much of travelling and are Platinum Members of One World so enjoy the luxury quite often and have a very good sense what is market priced and what not.

Vi hade en underbar vistelse på Ao Prao Resort! Personalen var supertrevliga och tillmötesgående, hjälpte till med allt! Frukosten var supergod och det fanns något för alla. Rummen fina och fräscha. Stranden var superfin även fast man fick kriga lite för att få en bra solstol och plats :) Allt som allt skulle jag starkt rekommendera och längtar till nästa gång jag kan åka hit!

Härligt rum högst upp mot berget, men ändå vacker utsikt över havet från balkongen. Personalen alltid hjälpsam och vänlig och allt var alltid mycket rent och fixat kring hela resorten. God thai-mat!
