DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Newcastle International Airport
8/10 Good
"Room was clean as expected with a large comfy bed, we ate in the restaurant which was really good and would highly recommend, close to terminal however the parking is £25 overnight at the hotel, we decided to stay the night before our flight last minute, so be aware of the parking charge. "
"Beautiful room, decorated to a high standard. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Easy to use parking area really close by and the breakfast is great!! "
Crowne Plaza Newcastle - Stephenson Quarter by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Rooms very clean and modern.
Staff very friendly and professional.
Shout out to staff in breakfast room. Excellent. Nothing too much trouble and very friendly.
Car park costs very reasonable for guests. "
"Room was clean enough, small bathroom but fine for one night. Surprisingly quiet given the location and it being a Saturday, but I think this was due to being in a room that didn't overlook the road. Didn't opt for breakfast as felt the price was a bit much given the photos don't show a great deal of choice. Don't know that I'd want to stay more than a couple of nights as the room/bathroom was quite small, but it was fine for the night. Shampoo, conditioner, hand soap etc all supplied. Staff were very friendly on arrival. Only thing I'd have liked was to have a liner in the general waste side of the bin. "
