"The location was excellent and although the parking was in the multi story car park it was easy walking to the hotel and they offered a generous discount. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved the decor and furnishings. We will definitely bookat Hotel Indigo again. "

"The best thing about this hotel is the staff and location (if you want to be close to the Principality anyway). It’s slap bang in the middle of the town centre, and it’s an old ‘traditional’ hotel, so be aware it’s not brand spanking new and deathly quiet… but if you want a friendly hotel, 2 mins walk from the stadium, the castle and the train station, this ticks the boxes… I can thoroughly recommend breakfast at The Welsh House, just up the road towards Cardiff Castle"

"The hotel is best suited for one - or two if you don't mind having to step around each other. The rooms are quite small, the bed too big for the room. Rhe little deskette with chair, if used, collides with the bed. The bath has all the usual, but is by far, the smallest I've ever met. The good, though, is that the hotel is mere feet from Cardiff Central and is well located. The desk staff pleasant and helpful, and the bed is comfortable. It works if you arent going to spend any significant time IN the room."

"I wouldn't stay here again. Very disappointing. Staff were moody, did not want to engage in conversation, asking for directions was a huge inconvenience to them. Bedding was awful! The quilt cover felt like sand paper where it had babbled, I assume it might be very old! This needs to be looked at as a PRIORITY! Pillows were extremely poor. Not a comfortable stay. Wood frame of the bathroom door needs looking at all the paint is coming away, looks very cheap and nasty. Had 1 coffee pod when we checked in. We booked a room for 2 adults..... Very very noisy you can hear everything. Wouldn't recomend this hotel. Won't be returning. "

"The room was disgusting, there was sick stains on the carpet and what looked like blood stains on the curtains. One of the members of staff entered my room whilst I was changing because my shower was leaking in the room below. I would not stay here again"
