"It was a fabulous room in a hotel with free breakfast (with plenty for vegans)
Sylvia who looked after us was full of knowledge about Florence, very helpful & really friendly
The location is close to the city centre with lots of fab bars & restaurants all walkable too
I enjoyed every part of my stay there & will definitely go there again

"An absolutely enchanting gem in the heart of Florence. It is away from the crowd but a sanctuary for the mind. The former monastery from 16th century has been meticulously renovated into spectacular suites and a glass covered courtyard dining area. the art work inspires. Quality is outstanding as is the staff. "

"I have been to a lot of hotels but I have never seen customer service as the one provided by Julia! She is the hotel’s greatest asset. Attentive to our needs, proactive, and genuine. The room is modern and I had a good night’s sleep. There is a family owned restaurant/pizzeria nearby, Le Staglione. You should not miss it if you are in for authentic Italian food. I will definitely recommend and I will be back if I am in the Florence area again."
"It was perfect. Great location. Spacious and very clean room. Excellent service from all staff members. Within walking distance to Ponte Vecchio, shops, Duomo and Uffizi Gallery. "We are a family of 4 who had the pleasure in staying at the Fornace Suites. The staff is very friendly. Although their lobby isn't 24 hour we were given numbers on how to reach staff if there were any issues or needed anything. We had one issue the first night but the host assisted us as soon as possible and all was fine. The room was absolutely exquisite and comfortable for a family of 4. Clean and amenities were great. Lighting could be a little better in the bathroom but the weather was hot...

"I absolutely loved that Guest House Morandi is only a five minutes walk to the Duomo where one has a multitude of choices of restaurants and cafes.
Dario welcomed me as though I were family, inferring a map and a multitude of suggestions re restaurants.
He is always at the ready at the lounge to serve his guests a coffee first thing in the morning . I highly recommend this oasis of charm and hospitality . Grazie mille Dario!

"Great hotel, close enough to the action but far enough away to get away from it after a long day in the city. Great room and balcony. All freshly remodeled and well maintained. My only complaint was the hours of the spa and pool, really didn't get a chance to use either because we were out early and home late. Other than that we had dinner at the restaurant and the food was delicious."
