A couple of small things: 1- It would have been nice to know there was a flight of narrow stairs to get to room, 2- Bathroom sink is blocked by overhanging cabinets, toothbrushing very difficult, 3- bathroom door drifts open against the bed unless closed and then the bathroom is very hot. "This is a very old building and it has been lovingly and beautifully restored. Perfect location in York to stay. Easy walk from the train station and close to the York Minster and the Shambles market. Dozens of restaurants, pubs and shops around the hotel. Cannot wait to go back!"
