It's also in a beautiful location where you can listen to the river while falling asleep. If you are planning on seeing the snow monkeys, this place is a must. "

"Hotel Tsubakino is a bit of heaven on Earth and our stay will be fondly remembered forever. Their staff attentive, professional and friendly. In pre-arrival communication with repeated follow ups they asked about our special needs. The food exquisite with them going out of their way to make their traditional Japanese menus gluten free for my wife, not a simple task. The facility exceptionally clean, our room beautiful, and their hot-spring baths wonderful. Location great for seeing local sights such as the snow-monkey park. Simply loved our stay."
