"For the price, it was a nice hotel that gave me what I needed. Finding parking nearby was a little difficult, but is in the perfect spot for walking around Shinjuku."

"This hotel is attached to the Sunshine City Mall. You CANNOT get a better location than that. Everything is super accessible, including the Ikebukuro train station. The location was perfect for our itinerary (we went to Kamakura, Gotemba (Hakone), Yebisu, etc.). Also, the huge Famimart just on the ground floor was top-level convenient. Our flight arrived late in the evening and we were still able to get good food from the konbini. The hotel is clean and spacious enough for a family of 3 (one teen). My only teeny complaint is that the hotel did not provide abundant amenities compared to others (just basic toothbrush kit) that provided face masks, lotions, etc. but for the price we paid, it was okay. The staff is very friendly and check-in/out process was seamless."
"I have been staying at the Hotel Metropolitan for over 30 years and it always shines! Everyone is very friendly, the rooms and common areas kept very clean. I did have one issue on this visit as there was an occasional odor in my hallway and room as if the sewer had backed up. I was on the 7th floor. I hope this was temporary and fixable as it was quite unpleasant at times. Thank you."
"Excellent stay, the bathroom was fabulous with a very enjoyable bath- loved the toilet too. The room is tiny but functional. It was well equipped for a few nights in Tokyo. The view was great and the hotel is extremely central with everything on your doorstep. "
"Stayed three nights as a family of three. Perfect location (direct Narita airport shuttle), great breakfast, awesome staff service. Room is small, typical in Tokyo. "
