"My wife and I came form Canada and stayed here for a week for a stop on our honeymoon and all I can say is wow. Walter at the front desk was absolutely amazing and that was just the start of our trip. It was one of the only places to get a full breakfast around and it was amazing quality. The whole stay and the staff were perfect. The restaurant on the property is incredible food albeit a little pricey but you are getting extreme quality for the price so it is worth it. If you have a chance to get married here or just stay here I would highly recommend. All the front desk staff were incredibly helpful with whatever request we had whether it was a cab or a dinner reservation at one of the local restaurants. It is nice the hotel is a little out of the hustle of Naples center. Although it is out of the way a bit it is super easy to get into central Naples. The grounds of the hotel are beautifully landscaped as well. Overall it was a perfect stay and if we ever went back to that area of Italy we would absolutely stay here again. "

"Excellent welcome! The staff responded to our various requests quickly, both by email and in person. We stayed twice, in both buildings; one is more renovated than the other. The rooms are different, particularly the bathrooms. But the amenities, bedding, and cleanliness are all perfect. The terrace bar is pleasant with a great team. And some of the staff speak French! 😅 Very good breakfast. You are 6 km from Mount Vesuvius, and there are a few restaurants to the left of the hotel (2 km by car). Thank you to the Marad Hotel for making our stay as pleasant as possible."

"Very nice property currently being updated with new AC units, stucco and painting. Room had older furniture but was very comfortable. Restaurant on site. Food was reasonably priced. Staff was excellent! Very helpful. This property is NOT Naples and very expensive to taxi to Naples (70 euro one way). Nothing nearby to walk to."

"The hotel was lovely, very pretty surroundings which are well kept. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The breakfast was nice, a good selection for everyone including pastries, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, bacon, eggs, cheeses and meats. We didn't eat dinner so can't comment on it but the menus looked nice. The pool area was nice with views of versuvius. The pool isn't heated so be warned, it's cold! The rooms were really nice, the beds are super comfortable. Each room has it's own small patio area which is nice but unfortunately we had a view of a wall which was a bit disappointing. Also we didn't get any sun on it so it was very cold in the mornings and evenings (we stayed at the beginning of May). It's about a 20-25min walk into Pompeii town along a busy road and you have to cross the railway track. We didn't mind the walk even though I had a broken bone in my foot! Apart from the 3 course menu and bar snacks at the hotel, there isn't anywhere else to eat so walking to Pompeii town was the only way to eat in the evenings. Again, it wasn't a problem for us but might be for less able people. There is a train station in Pompeii town and another one which is about a 30-35min walk away. All in all, the staff are lovely and if I was going back to just visit Pompeii and relax I'd book again but it is quite out of the way. If you want peace and quiet (apart from the cockerel crowing from 3am!) then it's perfect but maybe not for a base to travel around."

"We landed late in Naples only to realise the hotel I had originally booked was the wrong dates (my fault). Managed to find this little gem while in the queue at Passport Control and within the hour, Ciro was on his way to pick us up for half the price of an airport taxi. The room was lovely, with a huge balcony and a beautiful pool. It’s only a small B&B but perfect if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle. Train station is around 1km away and a supermarket 10/15min walk away. Ciro was an exceptional host, always going above and beyond. I would absolutely stay here again!"

"Room was large but bare. Just a couple of chairs besides the bed made the space not flexible to use as a true ‘suite’. Heat hard to control. Had a big whirlpool tub, but small spigot meant it took a long time to fill. Room clean; housekeeping does a nice job. Desk staff friendliness mixed."
