"Simply beautiful and the staff were great at the reception. I met 2 Andrew’s and David and they were very helpful. Breakfast was good although the staff seemed less friendly when requested a different table for breakfast and announced it loudly. Something to note when guests make a discrete request- please keep it discrete."

"We had a good stay at Premier Inn Durham North overall. When we arrived, there was an issue with our booking payment. We had already paid through Expedia, but at reception we were initially told that the payment had not gone through and that we would need to pay the full amount again. The receptionist was not very friendly at first and said that this was not their problem, which felt quite stressful after a long journey. In the end, he made a phone call and we were given our room, so the issue...

"I spent 3 days at this hotel with a friend. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were friendly and helpful especially Jeannette. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she dealt with any issues we had . The hotel had a gym but the main areas, such as the bar/ bistro and the lounge was in a separate building to the hotel , which was just outside . This was called Rangos Although the hotel had limited times the reception was open, there were phone numbers we could ring if we needed...

"A good option for a family visiting Durham University or, as we did, attending a graduation ceremony. Only a 20-minute drive from the centre of Durham, but cheaper than staying centrally in Durham. Friendly staff, good full English breakfast. We had a room that slept 4 people, which looked relatively recently renovated with ensuite shower and toilet. Shower was good."

"Kaye was communicative and lovely. Her home is a calming respite for busy travelers. The outdoor space is spacious and beautiful, with friendly horses nearby. The bed was a bit soft for us, but the room was very clean. My Way Guesthouse is a very good value."

Cuando pedí que limpien el cuarto se sorprendieron y dijeron que no era usual y que lo lo normal es limpiar el cuarto cada 4 días . "Great hotel! Super friendly helpful staff. Clean rooms. Super comfy bed, one of the best I've had in Europe. The AC was wonderful. It is walkable to old town and Crooks Garden, the Cathedral and the River Walk, right by everything. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat."

"Mucha limpieza en la habitación. El desayuno bueno. Muy atentas las personas de recepción y servicio. La habitación muy pequeña. Se escuchan muchos ruidos de otras habitaciones . El hotel está retirado de Durham y de Newcastle, sin embargo es una opción de mejor precio con respecto a los hoteles de Durham."
