Absolutely first class, great welcome from staff and the food was excellent- well done Chef. Room was spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and plenty of space. Great selection of beers and a food menu with plenty of choices.

Perfect

The location was beautiful and very welcoming. Meals were fantastic and size was very generous. Breakfast was perfect. Staff were very friendly and our room was very comfortable and bed was gorgeous. Would definitely recommend.

Fabulous accomodation, service and food

Lovely queen bed, clean, hot powerful shower, large room with tv, fabulous cooked breakfast included in very reasonable room price. Excellent food menu and large portions at fair prices. We will stay again when visiting Durham. We tried to go back for sunday lunch after our checkout but the car park was completely full reflecting how popular the three horseshoes is. A very enjoyable 2 night stay and there was a lot more on the menu we would have liked to have tried. Next time!

Brilliant 3 night stay

Excellent service and food was outstanding, really good choice for breakfast and menu. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they did everything to make our stay pleasurable.

Friendly staff and very good breakfast included. Convenient location for lots of things nearby but location of hotel is by itself in the countryside so not within walking distance of anything. I would recommend as it was good value for money
